Formally, the beach season on most of the Absheron coast lasts from June to September. Every year, to swim in the warm waters of the Caspian Sea, admire the stunning local scenery and, of course, take a break from the daily bustle, thousands of tourists come to Azerbaijan. Public beach areas along the Caspian coast include Shikh, Novkhany, Mardakan, Zagulba, Govsany, and Nardaran, which give pure and vivid emotions, and also a sense of relaxation. There is list of best and unpolluted beaches in the comprehensive and contemporary city.

Nardaran Beach

If you want clean, unpolluted and not-crowded beach during your travel days, you must visit or check to the Nardaran Beach. Nardaran is located in the north side of Baku and this beach gives you clean sand which is very healthier, clean water and sunbathe activities. Nardaran seaside is approximately 40 km from the center of Baku and in this place, there are lots of restaurants which gives special and delicious meals of Azerbaijan kitchen.

Bilgah Beach

It is very interesting that best beaches of Baku are located in the north or eastern part of city. Bilgah, northeast town and seaside beach of Absheron peninsula, has very clean, pure water, sand which is very important for treating flu. Along the seaside, there are special and contemporary hotels, hostels, and resorts where you can enjoy the landscape or panorama of the Caspian Sea. The distance between Bilgah and center of Baku is approximately 40 km and you can arrive here with car within 30 minutes.

“Golden Sand” Beach

“Golden Sand” beach is situated in Mardakan town, which have approximately 30 km long distance from the center of Baku and with car you can arrive here within 30 minutes. This beach is the best choice for the tourists or ordinary people for relaxing, spending time with friends, playing volleyball or football. In “Golden Sand” beach, shed for the protecting from the sun, sunbed for getting sunbathe, tables and chairs are given by the administration.
