TOP 5 parks for walks in Baku

Parks have always been a favorite place for walks for both tourists and local people.

We decided to collect and tell you about the most popular parks.

1.    Baku Seaside Park - More commonly known as Boulevard. It is the most visited and longest park in Azerbaijan. The park is located on the seashore. You will spend about an hour or a half to go through the entire park from beginning to end. Here you will find various restaurants, cafes, attractions and even museums. You can simply take a walk or ride a bike.

2.    Fountain Square - Central and first square in Azerbaijan. There are a large number of fountains. This area was reconstructed several times. Around the square there are restaurants, fast food places, shopping centers, museums and coffee houses. One of the attractions was bronze figures. For children there is a carousel.

3.    Garden of the Philharmonic - Also known as the Governor's Garden. This park is located in front of the wall of the Old Town (Icheri Sheher). The road through the park goes down to the Boulevard. There are many trees and benches around. Here is the building of the State Philharmonic and a very beautiful fountain. The length of the park is small, you will pass it in 10-15 minutes. It is perfect for relaxing under the crowns of tall trees and birdsong.

4.    Upland Park - Located at an altitude and it offers a beautiful view of the city. Favorite place for lovers of good photography. You can get to the top on foot along the stairs or use the funicular. There are museums, cafes and Martyrs Avenue. A particularly beautiful panorama opens at night. Thanks to lighting, you can take a walk in the park at night.

5.    Park officers - The park has a large number of bronze figures, a playground with rides, fountains, various teahouses. An indoor ice rink was built here and a summer cafe is located nearby. The officers' park is a great vacation spot for couples with children.
