Every year, there are dozens of various international exhibitions, seminars, conferences and trade shows held in Azerbaijan. This is a great opportunity for young entrepreneurs to learn, exchange ideas, introduce their own goods and services, as well as to get acquainted with products of local and international manufacturers. These events are also a good chance for business representatives to acquire information and improve development of their business and services they provide.

One of the important events held in Azerbaijan was Islamic Countries Young Scientiest Form organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences in April 2017. The Form was an excellent opportunity to discuss topics as earth sciences, climate change, biotechnology, healthcare and etc.

Another prestigious event that provided an excellent international platform for the academicians, researchers, engineers and industrial participants around the world was the 427th International Conference on Civil and Environmental Engineering held in Baku during 11-12 August 2018.

24th International Caspian Oil & Gas exhibition was held in Baku Expo center in May 2017. This is one of the significant energy sector exhibitions where participated companies from China, Georgia, Germany, Iran, Russia, The Netherlands, Turkey, Uzbekistan etc. Participation of Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the exhibition’s opening ceremony testifies the importance and high status of this event.

There are also many different marketing seminars that are annually being held in Azerbaijan. Digital Marketing is one of them.

Future events include 37th International Scientific Conference on Economic and Social Development - Socio Economic Problems of Sustainable Development that will be held in Baku on 14-15 February, 2019. 

International Caspian Oil & Gas Conference which is the largest energy event in the Caspian region is scheduled to take place on 30-31 May 2019 at Fairmont Baku, Flame Towers. This event provides a great opportunity to get an overview of the industry and expand valuable business contacts in fuel and energy sectors. 

Azerbaijan also puts efforts to provide the platform for students in Medical and Health Science. In September 2018, the country will host 261st International Conference on Medical & Health Science - ICMHS 2018 where students will have an opportunity to share ideas and knowledge with one another.

To promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, students, and practitioners working around the world, this September Baku will also host 261st International Conference on Management, Economics & Social Science - ICMESS 2018 in Excelsior Hotel.

This year Baku Expo Center which is quite famous for hosting prestigious and international exhibitions, will host 12th Azerbaijan International Education Exhibition, 11th Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition(October 2018), 9th Azerbaijan International Environmental Exhibition (November 2018) and 24th Azerbaijan International Telecommunications, Innovations and High Technologies Exhibition and Conference (December 2018).
